The only time they should be considered poser GT500's is if they have the Shelby emblems...
+1 That is just not done... People who do that deserve to be flamed, it's either a GT500 or it's not... Don't lie!
I think the Shelby front end is the way it should have been for all mustangs. It just looks a little meaner. But at 2000 a swap... I am not even going to try and convince my wife...
Funny story, One of my friends has a 2000 v6 with a cobra badges all over it and a saleen windshield banner. ill try and get a pic. its funny as hell but at the same time disturbing

Dows anybody know how to place the GT pony emblem on the GT500 grill?
Just peel off the plastic and stick on. I used the running pony emblem like the V6 has. The GT500 grill has holes inset where the snake would go. But you can just stick on the emblem on the face of the grill - once it sticks, it is not going anywhere. Good luck!

Get youself a wire mesh plate. Get 2 3" long bols w/ nuts and lockwashers. Match up the spacing on the mesh plate against the factory holes on the grill. Place the 2 flat head bolsts in the mesh plate and stick it to you emblem. You have now created an emblem w/ 2 strategically placed bolts sticking out the back. Place the bolts through the grill.

Looking sharp Ante!

I had 2 little plastic brackets that I could not figure out too. Everything seemed secure so I just figured I didn't need them.

And no, the fog lights won't come on when you turn on your headlights.

Love these front ends and I love the hood. For some reason I could not justify to myself in getting the hood, YET, but Im sure I will sonn right along with the rear bumper. Great job on the conversion. Now all you need are rims and lowering and you are set.

I might not be understanding the question well, but the fogs should work same as before. Wiring was not changed. Mine stay on with headlights. I think they only cutoff w/high beam.
