So I got all my parts now ($1333 + 200 shiping, + 200$ customs - a HELL of a lot bettert han the $3100CAD the local dealers were quoting me - thank you Tousley Ford.).

Any special catch or order to putting this all together? Any gotcha's or things that experience would help with?

Ok so all of these websites with hoods say "only with gt500 facia" so does that mean you have to have a gt500 to put that hood on. My boyfriend has a 2007 GT and he is getting the gt500 front bumper and all and wants the kr hood... so we need some help. I'm totally confused and I've seen some people on here that already have conversions so I was wondering because I know the gt500 in 4 inches longer than the gt so if you get the gt500 front bumper do u still need to get the hood that fits the gt or will either work?

to your first question: "only with gt500 fascia" means you need the front end kit for the gt500 meaning, front bumper.

ive seen people leave the gt hood or put gt hood's on a gt500 front fascia too. and it will fit however it wont line up the same way underneath but it will work, check with pascal as he has this done.

you dont NEED the hood but i would recommend it.

GT500 front can use either GT500 hood (recommended to complete the look) or you can use your existing hood GT/V6 till you decide to change.

Finally got my lowering done after 10 months due to the Koni backorder. Put Elbach Pro springs on and BMR adjustable panhard bar while I was doing it. Once that was done, the Alcoa's with Hankook tires could finally get mounted and installed.

I managed to get a few pictures taken, but I need to retake them since the car was dirty due to the drive to the alignment shop in the rain that morning. One day this week I'll try to get it cleaned up and not just sitting in the driveway.

Still, I'm totally satisfied with the results. 05 Mustang was a HUGE help in this long process, so once again man, thanks a ton.
