Default K member and Tq limiter install Question.

I installed my k member brace and torque limiters a few weeks ago. I didn't have any real problems doing so except I'm not sure how tight the bushing should have been. That was the only partI found confusing in the directions.

right side bell housing

right side bushings

left side bell housing

left side bushings

I'm thinking the bushing should be tighter. but how much tighter?

That looks correct to me. Your right side bushing might actually be to tight.

Good install, but i agree that right side bushing is too tight. also did you torque housing bolts to 33lbs only? many confused folks out there over torqued them...

I'd say both bushings are to tight. The bushing should not be wider than the washer. It can cause it to fail.

..yes definitely. I was careful about that.

Thanks for the heads up. That's the part of the directions that was unclear to me. I'll make the adjustments.

As always, thanks for everyone's input.
