Anyone "fix" their plenum cover (after hood liner rubbing damage)?
I bought the Ford plenum cover for my 06 GT, and like many others found out too late that the black underhood cover rubs against it, causing marks and scrapes on the chrome pony and other areas of the plenum. So two questions:
- anyone try and touch-up the affected areas on the plenum with paint? If so, what did you use?
- anyone figure out a way to stop the rubbing so it doesn't happen again?

I've got a strut tower brace that would sit considerably higher that that, and it doesn't rub against the liner. Is your liner possibly loose and saging in that area?

I removed the hood liner. Eventually will reinstall, someone had a post about this some time ago. The used 3M super 77?? adhesive.
For the mean time no liner.
