Calling all Tune Experts!
I plan on calling Brenspeed tomorrow to get a C&L CAI and a tuner. How much hp can I legitimately expect with the 93 octane tune on my 2006 automatic? Everything else is stock. One more thing. Do Brenspeed Tunes ever throw trouble codes or will it be as simple as plug n play without any worry of future problems? Come on you young guns - help this old guy out!

I just installed my Evo tune last week.HP increase 25-35 RWHP. No problems with my tune. I dont know about Brenspeed but Evo have an extreme tune strictlyfor automatics, have you looked at there products??

I have my Brenspeed Racer intake and tune installed and I love it. I'm only running an 87 octane tune now, but I still have noticed a nice difference. I love the way it sounds, too. Rumbles lower and is louder during hard acceleration. It is muchmore responsive when accelerating (I have an auto, too). My gears should be installed by tomorrow. That's the icing on the cake for me.

I don't know the horsepower #'s but I guarantee you'll be one happy driver after you install it. No trouble codes have ever came up on mine, and that seems to be the norm. If for some reason you do get a CEL, just read the code with your tuner, and notify Brenspeed and they'll correct it. But seeing that your car is 100% stock it's unlikely you'll have a problem. Enjoy!!

Installed mine and a few daylater,while getting on it,my engine light came on. Stuck the sct2 and saw the code "po172" Ibelieve thats what it was. Code = system to rich from what I understand its from the oily residue on the filter. Other than that all is good
