Load the as built data from the old cluster to the new cluster.
This will require you replace the original cluster, hook up to the
OBD-II port, download the as built data to the reader, remove the
old cluster, replace with the new cluster and upload the as built data.
And that ever elusive warning chime problem, buckle your seatbelt.

This is the first I've heard of this. I have an '07 V6 and I've taken the car up to over 85mph and I never hear any chimes. Maybe it was just the GTs. I hope you were able to ressolve that and the paint issue.

I did the upgrade after also and I also have the chime. I assume yours also beeps when going in reverse? You can email Keven over on the TMS board.

He can tell you. You will have to go to the dealer and ask them to reload the "as built" data for your car. I havent done it yet but I have the GT500 cluster on the way so I will see what happens when I take it in for that swap. I didnt have to have ford do it before because I already had the milage transferred but this time the milage wil need to be transferred so I have to take it to them.
