Car traded for your Mustang?

RE: Car traded for your Mustang?
No trade-in.
You never get what is worth from a dealer.
Private sale is way better and nets more $$s
in your pocket for bargaining power when
purchasing a new vehicle.
IMO Trade-Ins are for suckas.
Also buying used cars from dealers is lamo.
Way too much mark-up.
Used 06 Stangs were priced the same as
new 07 Stangs when I went a lookin.
Just 200 yards away and the same pricing.

RE: Car traded for your Mustang?
None really. I sold an extensively modded '69 GMC pickup about 2 years before the S197s came out. It was lowered, had a 454 making 430 hp and over 500 ft lbs of torque. I built that truck from the ground up. After selling it I realized how much I missed having something that was peformance oriented but nothing out there quite fit my taste until the S197 GT came along. Bought my '05 GT and never looked back. Love the car!

RE: Car traded for your Mustang?
I traded a 2004 Chrysler Crossfire with 16,000 miles on it for my 2007 Mustang GT with 5 miles on it. I really liked the Crossfire, but there is not much market for the car. And not as fast as the Mustang.

Traded in my '02 GT...was tough, but the mileage was really low on the '05...18,000 miles. I bought her 3 months ago. I'd never go back now

RE: Car traded for your Mustang?
Traded an '03 Mazda Pickup -- great vehicle, economical, reliable... and about as exciting to drive as a toaster. You always have a use for a truck, but I have NO REGRETS. My '06 GT is totally involving -- a blast to drive every day. I averaged 8500 miles a year in the truck; looks like I will have 13K on the first year with the Mustang, but I am not really going any different places !!
