Default Decent price for 05 GT

Well, I just checked the messages on my answer machine after making several calls to dealerships I visited this week, looking at Mach 1's & 05 GT's..

I have a dealership calling me back, fully loaded Mineral Grey 05 GT 5sp with the Shaker 1000 system, selling it for $25,600.

Don't even bother telling me about your a-z plan. I'm not fortunate enough to have worked for Ford or the government, so don't bother posting here.

How does that price sound [8D]

I think that you may be full of it. Thats 2K below invoice, no dealership is going to do that.

Why would I make up garbage like that, please explain this to me...

You do realize that dealerships *do not* pay "invoice" correct?

Also for example, I talked a Mach 1 down from a 31k sticker price down to 25,100....

Heres some info that will save you 1,500 bucks, DONT GET THE ****TY SHAKER 1000' It sucks man, save your cash and buy a real system. All it does is vibrate your car in all the wrong spots, i heard one a week ago and it blows if you try to turn it up.

I dont know what they did to it but that system is far better than you give credit for. Mine sounds 10x better and more clear than the system I have in my 96 GT and I paid well over 3k for it.

The guy prolly had his base set to ghetto and that is waht made it sound like sh-it.

no it definatly sounds better then 04 and older. But with that kinda money saving, mine sounds 100X more Clear and Louder then the Shaker 1000
I am assuming that sense you are thinking about the shaker 1000 you enjoy loud music, so I would really invest on a new system

I have a system I would transfer over anyways.

I think $25,500 sounds like a fair price eh, I think I could wait until the spring and get one for less?

I don't think the price will go 'down' much by this spring. In spring, everyone will be out of winter hibernation and I think the demand will be high. I think you will have to wait 'til late summer before some real deals come around. I say go for the 05 now-(for that price).
