Off the chart INTERIOR upgrades!!!
In December I started figuring out what I wanted to do with my interior for show. In late December K-Dezines did this killer GT Logo painted the outside color of the car with blue LED light outlining it that mounted on the backrest part of their Rear Seat Delete Kit. I didn't want the GT logo but thought a pony like that would be killer. I called Keith from K-Dezines and asked if he could fab it up for me. Next thing you know the project was taking on a life of it's own. I decided on a killer stereo upgrade along with an interior overhaul. I wanted to do it all at once so I would only have to tear it apart once. I completely GUTTED the interior to run all new wires, speakers and extras. It's no wonder MM&FF Magazine says such good things about K-Dezines, Keith was VERY good to work with. I needed him to do a lot of custom work. I had some ideas but then needed him to fill in a lot of gaps. Keith really stepped up and I couldn't be happier! The interior of my 1 year old stang turned into this:
I did all the install work myself and it was my first time. I'd never installed a stereo or messed with the interior. The stereo upgrade was pretty serious. I replaced all the wires with high end 16 gauge audio wire. Try to run new wires into your door 1 time and you'll know what a pain in the butt that was! I wanted it all to be perfect though. The stereo consists of:
Head unit
Pioneer AVH-P6800DVD
In-Dash Double-DIN 6-Disc DVD/CD Multimedia AV Receiver
w/backup camera and iPod adapter
Speakers and amp all from Maxxsonics
Amplifier
Hifonics Zeus ZXi 8006 Illuminated Amplifier
5 Channel 740-Watts A/B-Class
Sub-Woofer
Hifonics Brutus Illuminated DVC Subwoofer
BX10D2 10-Inch
2-Ohm, 500-Watts RMS
Front Components
MB Quart QSC 210
4" 2-way Component Speakers System
MB Quart QSC 164
6-1/2" Add-A-Woofer-System
Rear Coaxials
MB Quart DKF 168
6"x8" 2-Way 240W Car Speakers
The other thing that went along with the install was my custom leather Corbeau seats I got for Christmas! The finishing touch was a chromed SoS switch panel to go with my Woodcorp - Woodview 3D Chrome trim! Check out these pics, tell me what you think.
By the way, if you see something in there you like, call Keith at K-DezinesAudio and Custom Rear Seat Delete Kits. Their web site is http://www.customrearseatdelete.com/ -Joe

RE: Off the chart INTERIOR upgrades!!!
Very cool! Have you done anything special with the trunk? What about using a pony with backlighting on the trunk lid, so when you pop the trunk, it lights up and covers the back of the trunk?
