No s/c for under 4000.00 that I know of. Most of them run in the 5-6k range + install. My KB ran 7 grand intalled.

Vortech, seen it for around $3500. If i was to get one that would be the one i got anyway. My favorite out of all of them after seeing them all installed and dyno'd.

I have seen the non-intercooled Magnacharger for around 4K, you would have to do the install to stay in budget. www.magnacharger.com

It depends on what your looking for... if you want to keep your warranty get a Saleen... there good up to 13 PSI.. but there kits are either the 435 or 475 kits... $&% puts you at about 380 to the wheels. If you plan on building your motor motor in the future but still want a blower.. its a good deal... I am running 7.5 PSI at 453 RWHP on a mustang dyno so I am sure you can imagine 13 PSI with a good tune... Plus now Saleen is offering (extrude honed blowers)

If the warranty isn't an issue go with a KB... Nothing beats the power and wine of a KB.

The Ford/Whipple non-intercooled and unpolished version is in your budget area, and instructions are superb.

I was looking into that to, only if you go with factory can it not void you warranty. If there is one out there that doesn't void it I would like to know.
