I bought my 06GT last year and just hit 1200 miles. Of course she has been locked in her cage (storage) for the entire time and only comes out when I go home on leave. That is soon to change though......

Thanks man! Actually I just completed my last tour of service (10 years active) and got out as an E7 with two OEF tours and one OIF tour. Thats it for me man...... I will be working on a military base in CA though....so I still have part in what they do. I loved being a Soldier but I have a wife and two kids now so it was time to get out and focus my life towards them (and the Stang of course).
As for the news... you must be referring to the Communism Broadcast $ervice (CB$) and New Biased Crap(NBC) News. Personally, I dislike the ways they portray world events, local news, and heavy bias towards negative attention.

Anyways, sorry.... not attempting to highjack your thread!

Once I get to CA, I will be driving about 30 miles each direction to work. I may end up buying a beater pickup for work. Gonna need one anyways because I sure aint putting stuff (like a lawnmower, bbq grill, trash cans, and all the other stuff I didnt take with me from Japan) in my car.

9 months and 14K miles later, so I guess about 20K per year. It's my daily driver and I woundn't have it any other way.[8D]

28,000 "fun" miles since March 2006 when I took delivery. 104 miles round trip to work. Of course, I won't live long enough to catch up to the 676,000 miles I put on my 70 Chevelle.

Bought mine March 17th 2006. As of today it has 5400 miles and 3 oil changes. Never drive it in the rain here. It gets squirrly and the drivers in Austin Suck on the DRY pavement , let alone when it`s wet.

Dude I love Austin. I stayed there for a couple of weeks after huricane Katrina and it's the best city I've ever been to. Planning on moving there as soon as the wife finishes college.
