Of course it gets wetbut not drenched!

Oh, and ForrestCHUMP, is that the best you've got? You've consistently proved yourself worthy of the "CHUMP" status with your useless, immature and stupid posts! PLEASE, join another forum...and jerk off somewhere else!

I use an engine cleaner and then hose it off, no problems so far. I do avoid washing the engine while hot same as I dont wax the car if its hot to the touch.
As per driving in rain, the engine does get wet, drive over a pond of water at 60 mph and you'll see tons of steam coming from the engine, exhaust pipes, mufflers etc.

OMG!!! Only if you drive with the hood off.It is safe to wash down the engine if you avoid the fuse box, and other electrical items. The owner's manual should detail what is not safe to get wet.

I have sprayed down my engines for years. I do it a lot for car shows and such. I have never had any problems. It's ok. Just dont spray high press water directly on elect connections.

Degreaser and a hose set on fine mist. Regaurdless of wether the engine gets DRENCHED or just minimul water in the engine bay, it doest take a lot of water for something to short circut, so these engines are fine with a hose and so on otherwise everytime you drive on the highway doing 70 your engine would say f.ck you, i quit this b.itch. Engine bays are not water proof, water gets everywhere. Some of you are retarded for thinking that car manufacturers would produce engines that cant get wet.
