Everything I have been reading is that the tow hooks are generic and it is up to you to mount them. I havent seen one that is specifically made for a mustang

Well I know the car is the FR500C which cost about $130K, I looked around the fordracingparts.com site but that particular part is not listed there. I would imagine something like that could be fabricated faily easily.

I think you meant tow "hook". A lot of places sell them. I got mine from Pegasus Auto Raing. They make two types - one that adheres to FIA rules and one that meets SCCA rules. This is the FIA approved one:




And the SCCA approved version...

I know this is an old post but there is not any other real info on these things. How/where do you attach this to the front of the S197?

ford racing has the rear one and the loop, they had the front one awhile back but cant find it, try calling them
