RE: "MY COLOR"
if you havent heard Ford is being sued by some MIT grad that had a patent on the option, from what i've been told it hasnt been resolved so dont be suprised if your new stang doesnt come with this option....on another note i have this option because it came with the ent-upgrade package and I bought my stang a few months ago, this is the gayest option ever put on a car, dont fill bad if you dont get to color coordinate your outfit with your gauge numbers

RE: "MY COLOR"
I thought the issue had been resolved as well, but today NinoAvila posted the below website with an article about the MY COLOR.
www.prweb.com/releases/2005/1/prweb199210.htm
You can see his original posting under the thread "MY CRAPPY SALESMAN PAYBACK..."
I ordered mine on Dec. 31, and was told that I would be getting it, but it is not looking good right now.

Here is the latest for MyColor from the Chicago Tribune:
THE TICKER
FORD MOTOR CO.: Suit seeks royalties for color feature
By Tribune staff
Published January 20, 2005
Frank Weyer has sued Ford Motor Co., seeking to bar the automaker from selling a feature called MyColor in 2005 model Mustangs unless it pays him royalties.
The suit, filed in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles, says Weyer holds a patent on the system that allows drivers to change the background color on a car's instrument panel.
Weyer, an engineer from Los Angeles, says he was issued the patent in 1999 and is demanding that Ford pay him $4 for each system it sells. Ford expects to sell about 150,000 2005 Mustangs but won't predict how many will have MyColor.
Spokesman Dave Reuter said Ford feels the suit is without merit because Ford purchased the technology for MyColor from Delphi Corp., the Troy, Mich.-based automotive parts and equipment supplier.
