Default BMW M3 VS 2005 GT (Stock) Challenge

I posted a picture of my new ride outside my office. A co-worker was on her way to see someone in the same office area as mine who owns a BMW M3. They both came out of his office and she said "Hey, that's Nino's new car, it's going to be eating M3's for lunch". The gentleman responded "Only in his dreams...look at the numbers". That kind of sparked my interest. What do you all think?

I'm not sure what year the vehicle is, but I'd guess it's a 2003-2004 model. Anyone race a BMW M3 yet? If so, what was the outcome?

Thanks...

I would say the M3 would take the race vs a stock 05 gt. I drove a 04 M3 last summer, and it wasn't slow. The car shines in the high rmp range. A new M3 will certainly outhandle the 05 gt.

Who cares about numbers.... GIVE HER HELL! You know the ladie has the SMG. But still they are pretty quick and are pretty much 13.2 cars. Good luck!

Nope. Stock GT. It's yellow too. (Good for a few more HP) haha

Even if I were to lose, I lost to a BMW M3. No big deal. For 48k it had better have something. I don't think he'd beat me bad.
If he lost (bad shifting would be the only way?) a 28k Ford beat him. That would be truley sad for him.
He's in his mid 40's, I'm in my late 20's. He's got alot more at steak.

I will say this, the M3 looks tight as hell. VERY nice.

Thanks for the input folks.
