Yes stripes on the hood only and the paint we're using doesn't use oven curing. I'm nervous about putting the doors back together because of all that is involved and I don't want to scratch them!

Yep, sanded down the mirrors before priming them. I also sanded the hood after I taped it off. You just need to scuff it up enough so the paint will stick.

I just recieved some more pictures from Wes. He just finished putting the clear coat on the hood, spoiler and such.
The hood looks incredible!
Inside of the doors.
Mirrors are looking spiffy.

This is a fantastic read and I'm jazzed the car is looking so much better and just the whole story/progression is fantastic. But, why aren't the stripes going all the way?
The color and combo looks amazing, btw.
