Was wondering what kind of install price I would be looking at to have a set of longtube headers, an O/R X Pipe, and a Cat-Back exhaust put in. Would try to do it myself, but Im on base with no garage, no tools and no time.

Anywhere between $600 and $1000 id say.

The LT headers are a pita, $800 is about the average install cost for those alone, but you may get lucky.

My shop hit me for the headers $800.00 the mid pipe and exhaust was like $50.00. There is alot of work in the headers according to everyone that does them.

I knew a guy and he told me it was going to be 900 but he was doing it as a favor in return for some work i did on his kitchen so i got it for 132

A few friends and myself are going to hit this up next weekend. I did a pair of shorties on my 05 6banger a year or so ago, so it shouldn't be much different. I've heard to take out the battery and tray, to give you more room. Also heard you have to disconnect the steering shaft or something. *shrug*

My shop just did a LT install for about 400ish they said.

The guys that did my shorties quoted me $300. and after they started the job they called me to come to the shop.....Bottom line the install cost me $475.00 and trust me it was a major PITA to do.

You guys are talking about shorties, those are a breeze compared to LT's. You have to drop the K-member and in most cases tilte the engine. It is a long and teadious job, and quite expensive.

The hardest part is taking off the stock manifolds. The bolts they use are very hard to undo. Same with the cat bolts. [:@]
