i hope you make her pay for her own insurance. if it's one thing i hate, it's when parents buy their kids a nice sports car, it's the parents paying for their insurance on it too. even after they get a ticket and raise it a couple grand. not saying you bought her car though, but saw that you said you put the car under your insurance for her, which you can't do unless she's underage or a student or something. I pay a little over $1200 for 6 months on all the vehicles I have combined and I go through AIG. That doesn't include the insurance on my boat, camper or 66 T-Bird. Wonder how much the 05 GT is going to cost me every 6 month. I don't expect to trade-in my 02 Mustang on to the 05 GT. Planning on keeping it for my daily driver.

For my 04 v6 I pay $320 a month insurance. I've never had an accident or ticket and my insurance has never had to pay for anything. I'm only 18 though but I live in the boonies so I hate to see what people pay in the cities around here.

yeeeeowch! 320/month on a v6? if you've never had an accident, you should call your insurance company and see what discounts they offer. i never had a ticket or accident either and got on their "steer clear" program. they just give you a book and tape and you keep a log for like 30 sessions of driving. then do a lil test that comes with it and talk to your agent. you get a few hundred/year knocked off. not to mention i got a student discount. even though i'm not a student anymore. but shhhhh.. they don't know that yet.

Word. My mom paid my insurance on my first car, a POS Mazda, but only because I couldn't get my own policy. When I turned 18 and got the stang, my *** was on my own. I pay car payments and insurance, which sure as hell ain't cheap. If you're old enough to have a brand spankin new car, especially a sports car, I'd hope you're responsible enough to pay for it.

i just found the best rate i could get on ins. 587.00 @ 6 mos. sucks when you have to be sr22 compliant. just have to suck it up i guess, i'll never give up my stang! still not right when you no accidents or speed tick, 3 companies wouldn't even insure 05 GT's, pathetic.
You need the SR22 because you got a DUI, or had a DUI with no insurance right? If thats the case, I wouldn't be complaining...$97/mo you're a winner DUI or not.
