Default 05 GT and 'A' Plan

Im down in the LA area and I was looking at the 05 GT Mustang. My grandfather retired from Ford and I qualify under it. Has anyone purchased it under the A plan and if so how much did you pay for it?

THanks

If your grandfather is retired from Ford's then you qualify under his Z plan which is 2500. under M.S.R.P.

i would wait for year end clearance sometimes its cheaper that way than to use the Z plan. but rightnow they have a deal thru the Ford employees program with 1,000. cash money when you use the program. so actually you would be getting 3500. under M.S.R.P.

i talked to a couple people in sales and service center at a ford dealership and they told me that they don't even qualify for much, if any of a discount. both of them told me they'd be able to get it for MSRP. which is cheaper than what these dealerships are selling them for. cheapest dealership is selling them $2,000 over MSRP.

No no no, say screw that and go to another dealership, order if you have to, because what i've found is that all the GT's on the lot you won't get A/X/Z plan on buty if you order one you will get it for the MSRP and with your A/X/Z plan discount. That's why i had to order mine. It sounds like the dealership is just trying to rip you off and deprive you of your discount rights.
