2013 or 1991 5.0
Hi, everyone....I'm just debating what should I do. I've been wanting a 2013 mustang 5.0 but I do also have a 1991 mustang 5.0 notch back red that's in fair condition. It has 250k miles with a few dents an could use a paint job. I also have a 2006 mustang gt that's in perfect condition an only has 87k miles. My question is should I take the money an fix up my 91 mustang or get the 2013 5.0?

Beyond doubt, I'd keep that 91! When yer old like me, the Fox doors are so nice and narrow to get in and out of in tight quarters. My '94 GT is terrible in that respect. No doubt, the OHV 5.0 will last maybe even longer than the OHC. The OHV is all-iron. I've yet to see a badly worn-out roller cam in the Fox 5.0, or '94-'95 SN95.

Ya the 2015 dark blue mustang is my dad's. He loves it alot. But ya...I've been wanting a 2013/2014 but just hate to part ways with my 91 mustang even tho it has alot of miles and could use a few touch ups on the trimming and body work.

It depends on how much sentimental value your '91 LX has, and how much it'll cost to fix up. It's only two years away from becoming a classic, and thereafter its market value is likely to slowly rise, so fixing it up could be a good option.
That said, the allure of the '13 GT with its mighty Coyote engine and creature comforts could be too good to ignore. Take one for a test drive and then decide.

Are you irritated like the rest of us 05' to 10' owners that don't have the 5.0 badge on the side of our car? or is it the extra 125 horsepower we left at the dealership? I think you have a great set of pony's. one is tired for sure and needs some love and the other is in great shape, just not enough for ya. not sure where im going with this but some things to think about.

Thank you so much for the compliment....it's just I know I can't afford to get a 13 GT and fix up the 91 at the same time. Just stuck between the two desecions. The 13/14 GT are very beautiful cars and just think if I don't get one now. I probably never will.
