Sept 05 is the build date on mine
Thanks, mine's Aug 05. I'm going to test my pedal and if it has any slack I'll pull it apart and take a look. Interesting how the revision went backwards.

...Its not going to increase performance or 1/4 times but will get rid of the dead space or travel before accelerating if you have the problem...
Exactly. Doing this is not going to make the blades in the throttle body open any faster and is not going to make your car feel like it has a supercharger. In fact, once the adaptive learning feature gets used to it, you'll probably be back where you started.

Sorry, I couldn't read past page 5, this is one of the biggest crocks of BS I've seen in a while. Change the angle of those brushes and guess what happens? They spread out on the return. Keeping an extra in your trunk won't do crap for you after you've wiped out in your car. To the original poster: Put this mod in your mag and I'll eat these words.
+1 Finally
Its the screw mod for me

Lets see. Bend wipers. No thanks.
Install a new travel stop so the relaxed
travel is a few mm less. Hmmmmmm
Sounds like a better way instead of
bending wipers. Soon the carbon will
be worn away from too much pressure
from misbent wipers. Forget the lag,
how about the new dead spots and
undesired quirky response from missing
resistance material?
Put a travel stop on mine and now its
fully micro adjustable with no bending
of wipers. Hows that for a modified mod?
*****. It obviously takes some knowledge and skill. If its done right it works perfect. Mine does. You cant run with the big dogs if your going pee like a pup. Reach down and grab a set evenif they are not your own tiger.
And whats your point? Seems like all it takes is a torx
bit and some pliers. And the need to follow the pack.

If you're not comfortable with bending the wires, you could accomplish the same thing by:

- blocking the very end on the groove in which the white bracket that holds the wires rotates (red circle in picture) OR
- attaching some sort of solid spacer (plastic) in the area of the blue lines in the picture.

Either one of these options would accomplish the same thing - stop the white bracket from returning to it's original start position, thus moving the wires off the non-sensitive part of the strip. I also think that these are easier than bolting up some sort of spacer under the pedal.

Or run a 4-40 screw with a jam nut thru the side of the case to limit
the travel of the wiper assy. Fully adjustable from the outside and
nothing to come loose inside the assy in the future. You guys are
going to make me get pics, are you not....

Yes pics would be nice - I have no clue what the nut/bolt method entails.
