Yes, its annoying! Seems like alot of newer vehicles do that to me though, belt right across the neck! If I stop short, I might wind up being beheaded by my own car! LOL

My gf's '05 Escape's belts do the same thing, I pull it down, but eventually it works its way up again...

If you guys are having a problem, you could just get one of these or a booster seat. They would solve your problems. [sm=smiley20.gif]

i'm 5'10" and have no problems whatsoever...but i sit with the seat almost all of the way back. i have no idea how people taller than me can sit in this car comfortably...i mean my seat doesn't really go any farther back, and i also have it reclined a little...and my legs aren't even that long...

also, have any of you noticed our cars come stock with a seatbelt holder on the side of our seat? if i remember correctly it's an elastic band or something...it prevents the seatbelt from going WAY back so you don't have to reach so much...and it also helps with the seatbelt positioning...

But it doesn't help with it cutting across your neck. The shoulder pads I mentioned before do make it more comfortable.

Here is a link to an eBay store. They don't have pads with Mustang on them though... only Ford. I asked the guy to have some Mustang ones made up. No response yet though. If all of us sent emails and requested them he would probably offer them. He has nearly any manufacturer you can think of.

EDIT: Forgot the link.

I have this problem too; I'm 6' even.

I have an idea for a solution but don't have the capability to make it. I was thinking of a piece made from aluminum that could be attached to the headrest posts. Pardon my crude drawing but here's what I was thinking:

Anyone on herewiththe tools to get something like this done?

Jason -- That is EXACTLY what I've been working on. Good thinking! So far I haven't come up with anything that has worked. If I can come up with any workable solution, I'll share with everyone here.
