Traction Control Delete?
Just got my 07 GT 5 speed yesterday. On my way home for the dealer I went to turn off the traction control and realized that the defeat button wasn't there. I checked the window sticker and it lists ABS/traction control as standard equipment just like all the other GTs.My car has a "sold to" designation of Roush Industries,28156 Plymouth Road,Livonia MI on the window sticker, so appearantly it was originally destined to be modified by Roush in some way. Do Roush Mustangs come with traction delete or did they run out of switches the day they assembled mine?

Or go to the dealer and show him a GT on the lot with the button and
ask him where yours is? How many more 07s do they have that the
"sold to" destination is Roush?

They had very few GTs 07s or 08s on the lot. I checked all of them while I was waiting for them to get done raping me with the paperwork, and that was the only one sold to Roush. All the rest were swaps from local dealers and they all had T/C.Mine was sitting forgotten in the back corner of the rear dirt lot.Its a deluxe with 3.55s, driver ornamentation package, and Shaker 500 as the only options. Driver ornamentation seems to be chrome dash bezels and leather wrapped steering wheel.

Thinking of heading back to the dealer today. I don't know right now if the T/C is enabled and doesn't have the switch, or if the program is even active. I think I read that the Shelby Hertz rentals either have the switch deactivated or removed for liability reasons while they were being rented, but this one was supposed to be headed to Roush. I'm not crazy about traction control in the first place, but I'm using it as a DD and we have winter here.

Is it active and you cant switch it off or is it
inactive and you cant switch it on?
Are the Hertz Stangs locked in to TC and
it cannot be switched off?
