Is there any aftermarket dual exhausts for the V6 yet? I can't find any so please let me know if there is... I don't think the V6 is a bad buy at all if insurance is your primary worry. I also don't think that 6,000 for the GT is expensive. If you go with the bHP of 210 and 300 that is 90 horsepower.. If you want to get 90 horsepower gain out of your V6' without going N2O you will be spending 6,000. Then you also get the GT wheels, Foglights, Emblems and other little creature features with the GT. Not to mention gearing and LSD. It totally depends on what you're looking for. Recently my girlfriend was shopping for her '05 Mustang and was going to get a GT or a V6 convertable. I convinced her not to get the V8 because of fuel economy, insurance, and the fact that she will NEVER use the power of the V8. She has gotten every other visual upgrade minus the emblems, and dual exhaust that the V8 has (foglights, wing, leather, and bullitt wheels). She did not get the convertable either, but that was her choice for insurance and the fact that we live in crappy weather land. I think V6's are great buys for those whom's budget and image it fits. And yes the V6 is quick and will feel quick because it has power and heavier cars tend to feel faster, but it actually isn't all that fast in comparison to many cars on the market today. It will suffice for your needs as a kid, and my girlfriends needs as a woman :-p (I'm gonna get **** for that)

I own the V8 GT, but think for most everyday driving purposes the V6 is probably the smart way to go. Other than sheer torque and high end speed the GT seems a little overpriced to me. Driving the GT around day to day frustrates me because I can't really drive it to it's full potential going back and forth to work. Most of my commuting is done in a 55mph zone thick with CHP. Bummer!
