RE: Window tinting
i'd say to just have a shop to do it that guarentees the crap. place i got mine done at even if it bubbles and peels 5 years from now, if the shop is still there, they'll replace it for me for free.

Tinting a back window is easy if you have the right squeegie.. Get a small window cleaning one with a rubber tip.. Should be approx 6"-8" long at the rubber tip...
Get some help from a friend who can hold one side in place as you apply and cut the exess off.. 7 or 8 nice smooth pulls should get it on nice.. If you have bubbles, work them out with a 1"-2" small hard rubber or soft plastic applicator..
Parts and all should run ya no more then $20 for the rear window and its worth a try yourself first before going to a pro..
You can say that you did it.

my tint cost me $190 to get done. that may seem high to some of you, but that's the cheapest "professional" place around here. LA tint and some other places wanted $220+. one place i called in southern maryland actually quoted me $325!

Wow some of these prices are expensive! While I haven't tinted my Stang's windows yet I had my F-150 done (front windows are larger but did not do the back or the two side windows). My cost was $50.00 with a lifetime guarantee. Shop is still there and I've never had to take the truck back because the tinting failed. This was done 8 years ago! I'm guessing their prices have gone up some since then but I can't see it going up that much. I'll have to give them a call to find out..
Boy this inflation stuff stinks....
