Took a trip to Wyoming for worka few weeks ago. Gota 6cyl.Rent-a- stang from Hertz.Made for a few pics but I do miss my 05 GTJust not the same. Much better than4 door I was getting.

dont let the rent a stangs leave an impression on you. i remember my dad and i rented a torch red sixer from hertz once and the thing drove like ****[:'(]. i mean it just felt so beat up. then when i got home and drove my sixer things were better again.

Heck, I would have rented the same as you (unless of course they had a Hertz Shelby). A 6 cyl. Mustang tops most anything else in those rental fleets. That was some beautifulcountryside to gaze upon for the drive!

I've been to Wyoming like 4 times, and I can't wait to back there again. That place is beautiful, friendly people, dry air, every place you look looks like a Postcard, snow capped mountains. I remember I was staying in a motel in Sheridan, 'cause I had toget a new fuel pump for my Bronco, and there was a guy there with a Black 1957 Olds, that looked like a show car.........it was his daily driver........the cars don't rust out there.

Well...I ran down a washboard dirt road for about 8 miles At 10 mph it was hard to keep it from going sideways all the time. But run about 40 or 50 mph and it was like racing dirt track. Solid rear is hard on ruff roads.
