Default Throttlebody party-pooper?

Couldnt really find what i was looking for through a search, so here it goes...

I read in FF&MM that the drive-by-wire throttlebody actually negates any bolt-on mods that you add unless you get the computer tuned. My question is how does this happen? How does it actually work against the mods? adjusting timing, throttle response, what?

I haven't found a mag shop here in Indy that sells the Mag. you read in. There seems to be different opinions on here as to what mod.s require additional tuning to beifit from. What mod.s were you considering ???

I believe that they were referring to the basics like intake, exhaust, and pulleys. It was briefly talked about in FF&MM.

Im not sure why im posting this, because you should just do a search in here, because me and im sure 20 other people have explained why mods dont do much because of drive by wire throttle. So im not wasting my time.
