RE: 26 MPG!!!!!!
I drive mine almost all highway driving, and consistently stay around 25mpg, but recently on a longer trip the mpg reading actually made it's way to 28mpg. I took a picture of it to show some co-workers. I have a brenspeed 93 octane tune, c&l intake, and Corsa axle-back mufflers.

My 07 GT 5-speed is stock tuned and I get 26-27 highway MPG (using 5th gear a lot). My around town average is 18-20 MPG and overall average is 22.5 MPG.

Were you using the data on the dash board or did you figure it out when you filled it up?
Sometimes I wonder how accurate the info on the dash is.

RE: 26 MPG!!!!!!
that's cause we don't do "liters" in the US!
Only 2 countries left that won't use the metric system: us and Myanmar! And good luck with your civil rights in both!
Anyway, I drive too hard on the highway to get that kind of average. If I've got to drive 800 miles I should be able to hit 100mph+ several times when the highway clears ahead of me. I'll usually go about 75-80. What was your mph average?
I was wondering, why use such expensive, 93 octane gas for a trip? Can't you detune and use cheaper 87? We don't have 93 in L.A. but just 91 is at least 20-30 cents/gallon more expensive.
