Do tinted windows draw unwanted attention from law enforcement?
I'm thinking about getting my windows tinted, but I'm suspicios that doing so will generate undesired attention from the law enforcement personnel. It would really help me if some of you that have had your windows tinted would share your thoughts on this. The LAST thing I need is another ticket.

Always draws attention in a small town. In a big city the police have other problems. But for the benefits of it i'll take my 3 fix it tickets...

Here in Middle Tennessee, everybody has tinted windows. Untinted cars actually get more looks because they look weird, so I think it depends on your area.

Yep. When I lived in the suberbs cops had nothing better to do than ticket for things like this.
Now... in the city.. they don't care. One officer I was having a conversation with asked why I didn't go with 5% on my windows.

This was what I was afraid of. I live in the burbs and regularly drive back to my folks house in a small campus town in Illinois. The local revenue patrol go CHA-CHING!
