Default Transmission Swap Tunning

Well after a few years of driving an automatic, I have gotten bored with it. So I decided to swap to manual. I already have the manual transmission and all the necessary parts.

I know I will need to have the PCM changed to make it compatible with the new transmission. So my question is do you guys know the best way to do this? Do I need to take the car to a shop? Or would it be possible to change the PCM with an e-mail tune from somewhere?

Thanks

I could be wrong but I don't believe you can rewrite the PCM from auto to manual. I believe you need the PCM from a manual to replace the one you have.

I know that 05-06 have the same PCM that can be changed either way. But I am not sure where I can get this done at. Any ideas??
