What is the power rating on the bullitt? How fast will it do the 1/4? I only ask b/c one of my friends is talking some crap about his car compared to my 05 GT.


I can't really find much info on it.

Did that one (Bullitt) get the DOHC engine, like a MACH 1. If so, it should be strong.

If your friend has a Bullitt he has an awesome car. It is not a better straight line car than the '05, it is not a better handler than the '05.. But he does have a rare keeper. the Bullitt had as I remember 5 more HP than the stock GT's in 2002 so what 267? or something around there. Their powerband was more even though. The best 1/4 I've seen posted magazine time was a 13.8 for a stock Bullitt. They had Eibach (I believe) springs in them which lowered the car 3/4" and did handle pretty well but still nothing in comparison to an SVT or an '05.

EDIT: it was a SOHC it was the same as the '02 GT, the mods were minor to the pulleys and intake manifold I believe.

The Bullit has 265 HP. The only difference between it and the GT was the intake. Average e/t for a Bullit is high 13s to low 14s. About the same as the GT.
