Thats just it -- his wasn't -- the website showed the real thing but when he got it it was slightly different ( missing SALEEN on the rear bumper)... so it was there replica[:'(]

As long as it's "Genuine Saleen" then it's Saleen, not the store. I bought a complete 01' kit from Haney Motorsports and the whole fit was terrible but we eventually made it work. Doesn't really matter where you get it, it all comes from the same place.

My buddy purchased a saleen kit from them for his 04 and it was horrible... so many ways and fitment sucked... we of course fixed everything but it's the point. Hoping that it was just his Exp and not the same for none of you

Yeah tell me abou it -- he was so freaking excited about it that he didn't even really inspect any of it... he took it to the body shop ASAP and when I saw it was like.. ummm thats not right... needless to say he was PISSED! I would just call and make sure that you're getting what you purchased

I don't think it would be that much, Brenspeed offers $650 same day install SC's, that's just a ballpark figure everywhere else, but it can't be too much more... plus you're using Saleen's tune which is included ... $1200 for paint and install, but my guess is around $600 because you're not paintng the whole car. $80 for mounting and balancing the wheels and tires, granted you whip out the jack and put them on yourself. Add a couple of little Saleen items (Door Sills etc..)here and there and for about $13k you'd have a really nice Saleen conversion (minus the impossible to getseats). Oh and don't forget the $720 Racecraft suspension kit and $1500 brakes.
I plan on eventually doing a Saleen conversion and I also plan on doing everything myself with help of a few specialists, so hopefully it'll just cost me paint, beer and a few pats on the back.

I'm having a Saleen kit w/exhaust installed and it was estimated that it would cost about $2300 and possibly more. A lot of work is involved in installing the kit including some fabrication of stock Mustang peices.
