I don't like the bullits. But with the spinner on Earls I like. I have the optional wheels, they are alright but eventually I am trading for chrome bullits.

I've got the bright machined upgrade wheels and now wish I had the painted bullits. I'm trying to locate someone to trade in the Chicago area. The bullits have that classic look.

ORIGINAL: Lubricant

The stock ones look the best to me. According to ford, they can paint them a few different colors if you like also..
You can match the rims to stripes if you get them.. The classic look they give, really gives the car a nice overall beefy look..
The upgraded rims give the car a standard look comparable to other new cars.. I dont know of any other car on the market now that has rims like the stock GT rims.. love em!

Yea, let me tell ya the story about my "according to Ford" encounter. I wanted the black version of the wheels. They told me that they are aftermarket. I asked why they show them in the cales catalog, they didn't have much of a response other than that they are aftermarket. So I pointed the wheels out in the accessory catalog, they responded by saying that they are aftermarket ( see a patter forming here? ) So, then I pointed out that they actually have an order code for the wheels in their dealer book. They still insisted that they are aftermarket. BUT...just to show me what nice guys they were, they were going to give me a deal on them. Only $1800......yup that's right, I said $1800. Pissed me off so bad I told them to deliver the car with no tires and wheels period and I could come pick it up with a flatbed and drag it to a wheel shop before I would pay them that.

But....all is well and I am over it now. Bought the EXACT same wheels from O.E. Wheel Distributors out of Florida for $450.

I wish I had the stock rims. I don't like the upgraded ones.

Just get the rims that the car comes with. When you start modding your car your gonna want to buy new wheels... You can always sell the stock ones and buy some bullits or any other wheels to better match the color of your car. I have yet to see a black 05 mustang with deep dish black bullit wheels DAMN SEXY!!!

One of the reasons I went with the white car rather than the torch red one the dealer also had was because the white had the stock GT wheels. (Well, and also because the white had the IUP). My hubby calls them 'coke bottle wheels'. Someone in a parking lot was ooohing and aahing over them, too, and called them the same thing. Personally, I love the retro look.

Here's a pic to show what they look like with white.

I like the spinners. I gotta get me some of those, but my sixteen year old daughter had an accident last friday (with a 93 Cobra convertible, no less--ouch). Nobody was hurt, just front end damage, thank the lord. Thank heaven she wasn't driving my stang. Anyway, any extra goodies for my stang have been put on hold to pay for the increase in our premium. Heaven knows what that'll be. Teenagers--one way or another, they'll get you.
