Default Stock rim or option rim which is better?

Well my glory has came and went there is a new black mustang up for sale at Lowcountry Ford and now I don't have the only one. However it has the stock rims. At one time I use to think they were better looking than the option ones'. Whats your thoughts or do they both suck?

The stock ones look the best to me. According to ford, they can paint them a few different colors if you like also..
You can match the rims to stripes if you get them.. The classic look they give, really gives the car a nice overall beefy look..
The upgraded rims give the car a standard look comparable to other new cars.. I dont know of any other car on the market now that has rims like the stock GT rims.. love em!

My '05 came with the upgraded rims. I like the look of the Upgraded. Something about "Painted" on wheels sounds like "chips" are on the way.
But, I do like the retro look with the spinners. Shoot, Heck, I like both!!!

I love the stock rims on my Silver Gt, if mine came with the optioned rims I would have replaced them.

I've been watching wheel designs come and go since custom wheels were first marketed. The stock Stang mag design is timeless and adds two critical dimensions to the car: Speed and Beauty. The first thing people ask me is "where did you get those wheels"? like they were some exclusive custom. Ford did this one right. Don't mess with it.

I like the retro look of the 05, so for me it's the bullits. If I start to mod the car, then aftermarket rims are a must. The factory offerings are fine, but I will go 18's and as wide as I can make look good.

That's happened to me too. I haven't seen a GT at a dealer without the optional wheels. I guess they figure its a cheap upgrade, like $200. So everyone thinks I added the Bullits.

Earl added the spinners, nice touch. ^^ I want to do the Pony centers, but I haven't ordered them yet.
