Default Satellite Radio antennas

Well I am going to Circut C this Friday and pick up the Satellite receiver to hook up to my Pioneer DEH-7800MP HU. I pretty well know where I am going to mount the receiver, hook up power, and plug into the radio, but I am not sure about antenna position. I really don't want to put the magnetic antenna on my paint, but I have never seen any other type of antenna like a thru glass style. If I end up putting the antenna on the car it will probably be on the top center of the trunk lid just off the rear window. If any of you have suggestions or pictures of your antenna locations please post them up. Thanks................

Put it under the carpet on the back deck right behind the rear seat headrests. There is a huge hollow space there. I have an Avic-D3 and I put my sirius antenna under one and the GPS antenna under the other. My car came with stock sirius but I didn't reuse the antenna.

Good luck!

I put both my Sirius and XM antennae under the carpet at the back of the window. Look in the trunk, there is a square hole with a depression in the metal that is whereI put mine. Same reception on both as on the trunk lid.

Great idea. I had mine under the spoiler, which hides it pretty well. But under the carpet, it is totally hidden. Reception so far is good. I'll see later how well it does on the road.

Thanks!

Thanks for the info guys. I like the idea of the rear deck and removing the baby seat hook is a great idea. I am going with the install either Friday or Monday so this really helps.....Thanks again
