I've heard things about a Camaro to come out that looks retro in 2007. Any truth to this?

GM has said the Camaro/Firebird are dead and burried over and over again. The sketches being thrown about around the WEB are just tht, sketches. I don't even think they are from GM.
Even if GM were to say as this very minute they were going to build a Camaro/Firebird. They couldn't get it to market until next decade. Given the dismal sales of the GTO, I wouldn't count on a Camaro/Firebird even then.

It's hard too say if this new Camaro will become reality or not. Probably not. GM is too worried about building 57 flavors of SUV. I'm kinda lukewarm on the styling anyway. Then again I was never too excited about the 67 - 68 Camaros to start with which is what this car appears to be based on.
This is only my opinion but I thought the Mustangs of those years were far better looking and I think the same of this car. The 05 Mustang looks much much better.
