You guys talked me into a Z06
I want to thank everyone that I have gained knowledge from and spoke to over the last few months here. I have met some really cool people on this forums and want to wish you guys the best of luck in all your future mods. I have decided to garage the stang for now and get a new daily driver. I will check back on here periodically and try to keep in touch with you SoCal guys for any future rides and get togethers that are coming up.
For those of you that are curious to knowI wanted to see whatmy stang could do against a Z06. I let the fleet manager take my Vette out and I drove the stang,I was amazed that Iwalked on the Z06 up to 80MPH (we both shut it down at that point) and we were safe to do it on the new empty lot, new streetat the back of the dealership. He was amazed that I let him bang on my new car too, it was funnyseeing all the lot attendants stairing at us and on their golf carts watching us do our thing. You guys that have a similiar setup to my stang (read my sig) should be happy that you will walk on a stock Z06 out of the hole from0-60MPH. This was mainly attributed to the 3.73's I havein the stang versus the 3.42 setup in the Z06 (6spd). I'm sure an intake/tune I am getting next week will wake the Vette up.

I already have a good 1/4 mile car, I wanted a track car that I can take out to Bondurant course next to my house. With 50/50 weight distribution it is keeping up with the Lotus and Ferrari's. Believe me I tried getting all that from my mustang but I was getting lapped, it oversteered through the corners.

Well good luck but it sound like you might be lacking is the driver mod, there is plenty of Mustangs on the track that do well even with V6's.....I know how that53/47 distribution can mess someone up...remember you paid $28+ mods and you can't touch a Lotus or Ferrari for that...
