any with cables are bad they will rub on clear coat I removed cable and went with shelby one. the close to surface one you have to be very careful both puting on and off

The ones I got from joeheck have the mounting brackets that attach to the upper radiator supports.

If you follow my write up you can keep the lanyards. They are installed in a way that all extra slack is taken out and they don't flap or rub. Been a couple months and I don't see anything going south... And that's on a black car...

Not to jack this thread but I put the new Shelby ones on yesterday and managed to divot my hood real nice. [:@]Will a scratchless dent remover service be able to fix it?
