it's on the spoiler, the GT500 has a honeycomb like reinforcement thats moulded to the spoiler on both ends and in the center, you have to trim the ends off flush with the spoiler so that it will mount up flush with your bumper, the center part of the spoiler is where the gap is between the spoiler and bumper, I moulded a cap to cover this exposed honeycomb reinforcement so that it was smooth then mount the spoiler to my car, I don't have the problem with trash getting caught in the gap.

dunno man but ill be happy if i can get it looking as good as yours...maybe some more close ups of the "gap" and the ends where it meets the fenderwell.

Dunno man, I didn't have to shave or cut anything, just had 2 other people besides myself putting it on, lots of muscle to get it the way I wanted. Sorry for the picture quality, cell phone and all....
