My 05 GT tires are Z rated, unlike the W rated shown below. This info indicates 8.5" max. on rim width. For a 9" rim, you should jump to a 255 tire.

I want new wheels, I was just wondering if I could get away with putiing the stock tires on for now. I guess I might as well use those up first, and then do the new tires and wheels. I really like the chrome bullit wheels. everywhere i've seen only has 17 x 9.

I see your point. I have the factory "grey" bullits on my 05 GT prem., They would be cool in chrome. I want to do as wide a tire as I can get by with, and change the rims. I guess it may cost a bit, so I will run these until they are gone. If I get to SC this summer, I bet the stock rubber doesn't last long !!

I put 20 inch 275's on the rears and 255's on the front. There is no rub at all, but the rears stick out a little. Gives it a mean stance.

yeah, SC=quick deathof thee stock tires. Then you can get your wheels faster.

I was able to fit a 295 in the back on a 10" rim.
