Default electircal problems

I have exactly one hundred miles on my 05 GT and just returned from a week on business. The whole damn trip all I could think about was getting home and starting her up. Low and behold, after 6 hours in various airports, I finally make it home and the battery is dead. What gives? Anyone else had any electrical problems? When I first hooked her up for the jump, the shaker 500 spent about 25 minutes cycling through CDs. Did this thing just cycle through for 10 days while I was away until my battery died? Anyone have any thoughts or similar experience.?

thanks...

I have a similar problem, but it has not lead to a dead battery since it is driven daily. My shaker 500 makes a cycling noise each time I arm or disarm the alarm plus it does it randomly through out the day, I have walked past it and heard the clicking. after I start teh car it goes on for about 1-2 minutes then finally the stereo says CD error and shuts up. The dealer ordered me a new radio. I hope this fixes it cause I have already had one radio replaced for the same thing. If while in radio mode you press both 3+6 it will enter a self test and let you know if it is bad at the end. once my test is done it says test fail and then I get 3 error codes B2477, B1342 and B2406. I have been wondering if I let it set if the battery would drain, but I love to drive it to much to let it set and see.

I thought these cars had run-down protection?
