steeda c.a.i.
ok, i was looking at the steeda cia and noticed it is only a filter and a new mafs housing, and you use your stock rubber tube going to the throttle body. why would that not fit on the v6 and and im starting to think its the reflashing is where u get your gain in hp. so why not but a cheaper intake and get a cheaper hand held to reflash, as i see it if you buy steeda arent you really paying for the name

RE: steeda c.a.i.
A lot of it I'd have to say you are.
They have billet lower control arms for the rear that are like $300 for a pair... And I could have them milled for ME for about $200 CDN. Mass production, and they're still more expensive? You always pay for the name.
They expect people to buy the stuff if they can't make it themselves, and if they're ricer enough, you can always buy something with a brand name and show it off.
Kind of like adjustable strut braces with hinges... They're useless because they don't stiffen the chassis if they can flex.
