Paxton Novi 1200SL vs. 2200SL
I'm going to drop some major funds on an upgrade after the holidays and have been weighing suspension and/or hp. I really hate the way the rear end on these cars react to power and wanted to put an end to it but today saw a guy with a Paxton Novi 2200 on his car and I LOVED it. Man, that thing sounded really good at idle and light cruise. Got back to the office, checked out some vids of S197's with the Paxton and decided thats the one I want.
My question is whats the difference between the 1200 and 2200? I checked out www.superchargersonline.com and this comparison chart:

From what I'm seeing the only diff between the two is one has a larger inlet/outlet pipe (thus higher capacity for airflow/boost) and costs a lot more w/intercooler. It looks like the 1200 can make 680hp and push 20lbs of boost and that is likely all I'll ever want/need. I'm looking to make ~450rwp w/ my stock bottom end. Are there other benefits to going to the larger 2200 unit? Does it sound different, etc etc?
