Default high idle after a cold start-up

Just wondering if anyone else has been experiencing a high idle after a cold start-up...usually runs in the high 2's sometimes 3 for about 20 - 25 seconds

My 2002 would do that. *sigh* but now it is gone - sold it - and I am Mustangless while I wait on my '05 to arrive.

Cold starts, every newer car does it. Also alot of automatic trans have 2nd gear lock up, so you can warm youre car up faster.

Perfectly normal. Started some 05 F-150s in -20*F weather earlier this winter, wow...

maybe your right.. you have more done to your car then mine my yellow borther

== for the PC yuppies on this board that is: (yellow) as in the color of the car.. NOT refering to anyone that is asian. ALSO (Brother) Is in family/good friend..NOT as in a person of color.. OK? That should cover me.
