Finally Installed a Chin Spoiler....
Or maybe a better title would be, had the chin spoiler installed....
So my wife, in her quest to understand just exactly what it is we all see inthis obsession with Mustangs, has been doing some extensive reading here on the forum, and trying to absorb as much knowledge as she can about our cars, mods, terminology, etc. So when the new chin spoiler showed up yesterday morning, she was anxious to throw on the grubby clothes, and crawl under the front with me and give "Modding" a go. Personally, I think she did a great job, especially since she really has not turned wrenches to any extent before this. I walked her through the process, but she did all the work. (With the exception of drilling one of two holes in the front fascia).
So take alook, and let us know how it looks, and more importantly, how she did on her first mod........

RE: Finally Installed a Chin Spoiler....
Thanks guys.....
It is from Wilpak Industries, AKA Astra Hammond. Same folks that make the nice aluminum louvers.....
Thanks....No, the chin spoiler is one piece molded, and uses the existing four bolts under the front fascia, and supplies four additional bolts, two for each side near the wheel wells. Two of the four additional bolt holes already exist, so it only takes drilling two 3/8 inch holes. Very sanitary install....
Hey thanks Ken, we both appreciate it. That's one of the things I like about this chin. Haven't seen it used before....
Looks great... Which chin is that?
That looks nice. Does this application use those little plastic two-piece fasteners?
She did an awesome job Mike. And that spoiler is really cool looking. I like it a lot. It's different than what I've seen lately

Looks great! A big thumbs up to your wife for trying to "understand" you.. that's a really cool thing for her to do. Sounds like you have one hell of a woman there.

Mike,
Looks great! I've not seen that brand before.
I need to have your wife chat with mine, as soon as I mention the Mustang, the attention kinda disappears LOL
