I purchased my AR Shelby Torq Thrusts from Discount Tire and they accidentally ordered the offset in the 20's. I made them order the higher offset because I could not stand the look. Not only did look odd, but you have to worry about all the road debris kicking up on your fenders. Just something to consider.

I think the fronts look great with that offset, but the rears stick out just a bit too far for my tastes. If I can see too much of the tread of a tire coming out past a fender, it reminds me of the Mexican trend of having the tiny wheels stick out 6"+.

If ur basing that on Shockwaves car I dont believe he has and Adj. panhard bar yet so the wheels stick out more on the driver side then on the passenger, The black mustang that was posted first in this thread looks as tho it has an Adj. Panhard bar and that doesnt show much tread and looks quote nice.

Shockwave, what tire size are you running? and what kind of set up are u running as far as suspension?

Cougarfan088 your right, when those pictures were taken i did not have my adj. panhard bar in place. Since then i have installed one, now the rear is centered nicely and now i can lower the car more. The driver side tire did stick out considerably more than the passenger before the adjustable bar.

Tire size is 285/40/48 in the rear. Eibach pro kit are the springs, AND NOW I HAVE THE ADJUSTABLE PANHARD BAR, I FORGET WHAT BRAND

Since it's a muscle car, there's no such thing as too much meat. Maybe if you were talking about a Honda... Too little meat (ie low profile tires) combined with a lot of lowering makes it look rice. It's a shame so many people are ricing out their muscle cars these days.

DarkFireGT has some of the best sized tires. Makes the car look like what it's supposed to be, a mean looking muscle car.
