You are correct sir! The springs are Sportlines and the wheels are from Dynatech.

Hi guys,
I have been staring at the bigcustomwheels.com wheel calculator and trying to figure out if the 99-04 offset (24-28mm) wheels will fit. The calculator says if I put a 18x10 or 18x9 rim on with a 28mm or 24mm offset respectively, the tire will stick out another 1.6" from its stock location.
I don't think this is too far and I want you all to help me prove it. So I need all you guys that have wheels that were supposed to go on the 99-04 mustangs to post up as many pics as you can so we can see if the tires stick out too far.
I will start by putting one of my favorite member's pic up. If memory serves me right he is running 18x9 FR500 wheels 24mm offset and 275/40/18 tires

wow. i've been debating using either 18" '99-'04 Saleen wheels or 17" '03 Cobra wheels, both in all black. After seeing how nice the offset looks on these, i'm hooked. Now i just need to choose which one......

Black 197,
Is there a reason why you went with Dynatek FR500 18x9 instead of the ones off the Ford racing site?
Also, dynatek says that the 18x10 won't fit the S197, do you know why?

It will fit if you dig a wheel sticking out about a good inch father than the "fender" go for it.

Thanks black 197,
I don't want the tires to stick out a full inch but your set up looks ideal. I like how the actual tread width is flush with the fender rather than just the side of the tire where it is the widest.
Wheel replicas has 18x9 in both the 99-04 at 24mm offset and 18x10 at 22mm. They have a 18x9 at 30mm offset for 05+ and a 18x10 40mm offset but it is a deep dish style at that size.
Did you have any problems bolting the wheels up to the front hub? Maximum Motorsports was telling me that the 05+ hub is different from the 99-04 and if I wanted to run a spacer, they make a 05+ specific spacer that is non hubcentric but said their 99-04 bolt in spacers wont fit the front 05+ hub.
Any comments?

The wheel is not hub centric. The hole or whatever it is called is larger so the wheel is centered using the lug nuts.
Maybe if you want a staggered look go with et 30 front and 24 rear with 255/45 and 285/40 respectivley. Or as I 18x9 et 24 all corners.
After lowering my car with Tokico D specs and Eibach Sportlines my rear was not centered and the drivers side wheel rubbed the wheel well a little bit. So I slapped on an adjustable panhard bar (a must for lowered s197s) and centered the axle. Problem solved.

I will get the same offset all the way around.
The thing that confuses me is the weight of these wheels. Dynatek has a flat weight of 30lbs no matter what size FR500 wheel you choose, 18x9 18x10 silver, chrome. A quick phone call could settle it I guess. Ford racing has their FR500 for 30lbs in silver and 31lbs in black. They list their SVT Cobra Anniversary rims at 26lbs. Tirerack.com has the anniversary rims listed at 23.6lbs, quite a difference. Maybe the Ford site is listing shipping weight as right above they list the box dimensions.
I could just run a small spacer in the rear IF I wanted it to have a slightly staggered look, then I could still rotate freely.
Anyone have anymore pics? Or at least some first hand experience of running 99-04 wheels on their S197?
