As nice as this looks, I cant be sure about the offset but Ill try to find out. But I do know this info for sure, 18x9 wearing 275/40 Dunlop SP Sport 9000 & 18x10 wearing 285/50 Dunlop SP Sport 9000 with no rubbing issues.

This is just the most amazing thing I have seen and wish to go with this wheel and tire combo. But where do I start? I have a stock 05 V6, can i just buy the staggered 18" wheels of my choice and then 275/40-285/50 tires, then have them mounted and call it a day?? Anything else I am missing? Any advice?

And would this set up be alright for daily driving?

Thank you thank you.

Default Here are some 2001 Bullitt wheels on a 2008 Bullitt

...the offset of the SN 95 works great on the S197. No spacers!

I'm not sure what kind of problems you might run into, but that is one freaking tall rear tire, 29.2 inches. As cool as it looks filling the entire wheel well, I can't imagine it handles worth a pooh. It will feel like your front is lowered, but your rear is not and that's not a good feeling ime.

I'd do 285/45-18's instead, if they make such a size. I'm surprised they make a 285/50-18.

Thanks for the opinion. I do appreciate it. I may go with 275/40 in front and then 295/45 in the back. Should be slightly less drastic, more natural.

Have another question tho. This guy:

http://customerpics.americanmuscle.c...ort=0#id=17868

What is the deal with his back wheels? Spacers perhaps? Or is that achieved using really wide wheels? I just DO NOT want that look. Thats just aweful. Ha.

Many many thanks for posting these pictures and advice/ stats! I have wondered if the 99-04 wheels would fit, and you all have proven that they do! My interest has been in finding the Torq Thrust wheels that would fit to give a retro look, and now my search can be broadened into the 99-04 years!

Nice looking cars!! I bought a set of GT40 Reps that are 18x9 and 18x10 both with a 24mm Offsets. Mine stick out way more than these on these photos ? What would be the difference? I know the tires are too small and i need to lower but dont want to buy tires if these are not going to work. Thanks for any input
