Default MGW Short Throw

I just put my order in for my shifter, got the safety stops, and the Black MGW ball. I noticed on their website it said it could take up to 2-3 weeks for delivery. I'm in Florida so how long do you guys think it should take? I'm only guessing a few days once they ship. Now the wait begins to get this installed !!

Sweet. Just curious how many turns are you using for the adjustment of the throw? I was thinking of doing 8 turns.

From my understanding, our stock transmision has built in safty stops and using the ones from MGW can actually harm the transmission more if not set properly. George does not recommend installing them.

Just what I've read ...

Yea +1, don't get the safety stops. I'm sure George will fix you up.

I think I'm at 5 turns. Keep in mind that you actually have two adjustments for throw: 1) turning the **** 2) adjusting the height. I have my height set really low, so if you were to lay a level on the arm rest the **** would be just a little bit higher. This makes the throw a flick of the wrist for me.

I used the same amt that Taco bill used in his write up, can't remember what that was though.

I called and spoke to a woman but she said they'd take it off.

Tacobill used 6 turns but than backed it off a little bit because of his BMR DS Loop was making contact.

Just for my info and people who find this thread later ... you mean they took the stops off your order?
