I am looking at the DD black bullitts from American muscle. I have a question for those who have purchased these, are the lips clearcoated or are they polished "bare" aluminum? I am just thinking about general upkeep, and I don't want to have to do a lot of polishing, I'd prefer thatthey beclearcoated.

Someone has purchased these from AM..............right? If you purchased DD bullitts from elsewhere, where from and are the wheel lips clearcoated?

I'd have to check when I get home to be sure but they appear to be polished aluminum.

they're probably just polished aluminum, but pm AMemile in the American Muscle forum and ask her. she'll know for sure

For anyone interested, I got a reply from AMNick, and he informed me that they are clearcoated........which is what I was hoping.
